Name: Spirit day ~ 296.366

"Stop bullying ! No one deserves to feel worthless ."

I was bullied when I was younger , and I know that Spirit Day is more about lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender bullying .. but at the end of the day , bullying is bullying , and any type of bullying is not okay . My friend is gay , so really i'm going to dedicate this picture to him , because I hate seeing the verbal abuse gays get for being gay . That's why I felt like I had to make a photo on Spirit day . I'm not too happy with this picture because I didn't use natural lighting :/ but by the time I went on dA and found out that today was Spirit day , the sun was long gone , so I had to do it without it . Sorry if the picture isn't top-notch ! I used a purple pen because everything about spirit day is purple haha .

“What if the kid you bullied at school , grew up , and turned out to be the only surgeon who could save your life ?”

People who bully are very poor, unhappy people who need the most love, they often need to bully to put themselves above everyone, they need to hurt to feel good to hide away their wikness, because they think that being nice is weak, so they burry themselves in bully coats. It is not the right behaviour, not at all, and yet one can understand the suffering those people go through as well.

Very true - it's been proven that people who bully have the toughest background. Of course, having a tough background is still not a good excuse to bully another individual, but I think it may help the victim understand that they're not being bullied on a personal level (well, since I was bullied, this was true for me anyway)

...unless we are, then we deserve it, but no one should be the sort of person who thinks of someone else as worthless, because as soon as you start to think that way about people you start to chip away at yourself, gradually making a hollow in your heart where compassion and conscience should be, and for those who do think that way, no one should think that's an excuse to do things that no one should do to another person. A person who enjoys harming others is not something that anyone should be, and it is not something anyone should want to be either.

Hmmm , I don't anyone deserves it really .. I mean , we're not meant to feel worthless . Life is so short , what's the point watsing time feeling worthless ? Might as well live to the max .

Depends. Not everyone is a good person, plenty of people do things that they should feel bad about, some do things that are unforgivable. Perhaps they still have some worth or use or place I suppose though, even if it is manual labour inside a working prison, but they deserve everything they get, but if a person starts to enjoy the idea of doing harm to those people, they start on the road to becoming one of those people, so even bullying the bullies or hating the hateful is in itself a bad thing, not because the people don't deserve that treatment, but because it corrupts the people who have the potential for good.

and some of us just useless static and would probably have died already in a more natural environment, so we spend our lives just trying to do as best we can knowing that we'll never really do anything much worthwhile, and we've never done anything particularly bad but we've never done much good either, and we know there are people far worse off than us, so we just shrug it off when people remind us of this or use it as a reason to beat us down, because we know it's true but we've learnt not to care, and we get on with our semblance of a life and try to stay out of everyone's way.

Still, I get the message here, most victims are just innocent kids whose only crime is not to fit the social norms, being too emotional, too smart, not smart enough, not strong enough or sporty enough, not interested in the same thing as everyone else, or just being the new kid, and they don't deserve to feel worthless, but I there's two victims in bullying: the victim, who is affected directly, and the bully, who could have been a better person and whose behaviour and decisions may lead them to poor prospects in later life. I never hated anyone who picked on me, in some ways I felt sorry for them that they felt the need to pick on someone to make themselves feel better, for if that was their main joy in life, what kind of life is that?
